Message from Consul General of Argentina in Hong Kong

On May 25th, Argentina is turning 201 years old, and I would like to invite all the Argentine residents to join us in this joyful celebration.

Since 2003 Argentina’s impressive growth rate and positive balance trade, within the framework of a fully democratic political system, made it possible to increase budgetary allocations to improve public education and health for the betterment of a wide open society, result of the meeting of highly diverse cultures. As in Hong Kong, the coexistence and integration of immigrants from all over the world has been a particular feature of our history which we continue to embrace.

Argentina is well known from its beef, wine as well as for football, polo and tango. But friendship is what Argentine people treasure most, and in this regard I am very happy to share this very special day with all our friends of Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions.
